Last week, we had a blast with an ice-breaking session in collaboration with Hetero Space. We let everyone, from the young to the old, play Catan and Splendor Besides the fun, we were thrilled and hyped to learn about resource management and trading skills. There were 5 Game Masters, including myself, leading the game session, which lasted for around 40 minutes. As the saying goes, ‘We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing’ – a quote by Bernard Shaw. There are many methods to learn, and we chose one of them: the fun way.
Furthermore, we’re exploring partnerships with local educators and business to incorporate educational elements into our game sessions. The blend of fun and learning has proved to be a powerful tool in engaging our customers, especially the younger generation. Our goal is to create a space where learning is not confined to traditional methods but is experienced through interactive and enjoyable activities. By doing so, we hope to foster a community that values continuous learning and personal growth, all within the welcoming environment of GACLAB.
